Description

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor at each location, this position will be the main point of contact for customers. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers as referred by the Account Manager.
• Enter orders, expedite orders, update orders.
• Direct ship purchase order entry with vendors-follow up
• Prepare quotations for Account Manager.
• Work with other sales staff if additional help is needed.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Undergraduate degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience with inbound call customer service
• Product knowledge gained through a minimum 2 years in Industrial Supply

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Intermediate knowledge of MS EXCEL, OUTLOOK EMAIL organization 
• Product line knowledge of industrial tools, safety products is helpful
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

EXPECTATIONS:

• Need to adapt to priority changes throughout the day
• Punctuality is extremely important. Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch
• Follow-through is very important and must be treated with a sense of urgency
